OZAPP Awards
History
The OzAPP Awards is an app competition in mobile, web, and cloud in Asia Pacific region. Curtin University initiated this competition in 2010. The aim of this award is to bring innovators, ICT developers and investors together with an intention that they can share the knowledge and benefit from each other.
The winning concept is provided with cash prizes, technical and commercialization guidance, accelerator and co-working packages, considerable resources to help build and commence their apps and chances to meet with top Silicon Valley entrepreneurs.
Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria of OzAPP competition are as follows:
- Participants should be citizens or legal residents of the Asia Pacific region.
- For submission of the entry form, contestants should register at www.ozapp.com.au at any time before the closing date.
- The application must illustrate a mobile, web or cloud software application.
- The applicants should have knowledge on the user interface and screen shot mock ups of prototype product (an effective alpha prototype is recommended).
- Apps should not have been commercially available more than one year.
- OZAPP Awards does not charge any application fee.
Only applications registered through the above mentioned site are accepted. Registration through this site is free and no late submission is entertained.

- The product value proposition.
- Team capability to perform.
- Market should need that product.
- Description of a compelling user interface.
- Potential of revenue generation.
- Supporting screen shots and graphics of application.
