Australian Hair Fashion Awards

Every year, hairdressers and salon experts look forward to Australia’s largest hairdressing awards, the Australian Hair Fashion Awards (AHFA). Yearly, this successful independent award giving body attracts hundreds of participants from Australia’s salon and hairdressing industry.

Australian Hair Fashion Awards was established in 1992 with the aim to recognize exemplary skills of hair experts, as well as to inspire budding hairdressers who are new in the field of salon and hairdressing industry. AHFHA focused not only on hair style creations but also established a synergy between fashion and culture.

The personalities that are annually present in Australian Hair Fashion Awards very well speak of its eligibility as Australia’s renowned hairdressing award giving body. Apart from finalists composed of the country’s most talented individuals and creative teams in the industry, AHFHA is also an event that gathers Australia’s most respected and highly acclaimed fashion gurus, makeup artists, photographers, creative designers, and production experts. Similarly, AHFHA has become a hub for iconic hair products, including Label.m, Cloud Nine, and Goldwell. And most importantly, AHFHA is judged by world-known, cutting edge hair experts such as 2013’s judges, UK’s hairdressing royalties Anthony and Sacha Mascalo, Errol Douglas, Sean Dawson, Beverly Cobella, and Akin Konizi.
