Eligibility

Students are selected on the basis of academic merit and through a competitive process. The process of awarding the scholarship might also consider research strengths or other strategic decisions of the University.

Award Conditions

All students, except Australian citizens, Australian permanent citizens and New Zealand citizens can apply for the scholarship.  The applicants should be proficient in English, and should have more than 232 or a paper based score of at least 575 to be eligible for these scholarships.  Students who are interested in getting the scholarship should apply to the university directly. There is no fee charged for such applications. The scholarship is offered to only twenty five people per year, and the list for applications closes sometime in August, and the admission is completed around that time too. The replies are generally sent in mid-December. If there are any second round scholarship offers, they usually happen in the middle of February month.
