Eid-al-Adha 2022 will begin in the evening of 9th July, Saturday and ends in the evening of 10th July, Sunday.
Eid al-Adha is also known as festival of sacrifice. Festival lasts for three days. According to Islamic belief Ibrahim(Abraham) has to sacrifice his son to god. God provided a lamb to slaughter instead. From then on Eid al-Adha muslims sacrifice An animal(lamb) to god and it was Splitted into three parts: they share one part for poor and needy, the second for home and the other for relatives
Muslims offer Eid al-Adha prayers at the mosque. The Eid al-Adha prayer is performed any time after the sun completely rises up to just before the entering of Zuhr time.
