Rossair Airlines
Foundation
The wholly Australian-ownded Rossair Charter was established in 1963. Next to Qantas Airlines, Rossair Charter is the country’s second oldest air transport company that still fully operates to this day. Because of unparalleled service, safety in travels, professional staff and crew, and its access to destinations not easily reached by other airlines, Rossair Airline has become one of Australia’s in-demand and most trusted airlines.
History
In 2013, Rossair Airline partnered with Air South, a charter company that is based in South Australia.
Destination
Rossair Airline’s fleet of 5 Cessna 441 Conquest provides services that include official or corporate travels, leisure and holiday trips, freight and cargo, and crew transfers. The airline has flights to any Australia tourism destinations, and one of the airline’s prides is its flights to scenic locations not easily accessed by commercial airlines. Currently, Rossair Airlines’ popular destinations include Coober Pedy, Kingscote, Kangaroo Island, Mt. Gambier, and Port Lincoln.
Hub
Rossair Airlines is based in Adelaide. Its aircraft, airline crews, and office are located in Adelaide Airport, South Australia’s principal airport. This airport is considered one of the busiest airports in Australia. Apart from Rossair Airlines, there are around 20 more airlines that can operate in Adelaide Airport.
