History and Foundation

Australia’s Inland Pacific Airlines was founded in 1993 and started its operations on the same year. This Australian airline is based in Garbutt, Queensland, Australia. Inland Pacific Air Airlines started as a service provider for scheduled and chartered flights from Townsville, Queensland and regular passenger operations were serviced to Palm Island, Queensland. Inland Pacific Airlines is the sister company of Skytrans Airlines which was formed in 1990.

Hubs

Inland Pacific Airlines has its main hub in Townsville International Airport. It is a major regional airport in Australia and Townsville International Airport primarily services the city of Townsville. Townsville International Airport is the 11th busiest airport in Australia.

Fleet and Destinations

As of 2007, Inland Pacific Airlines operate a fleet of 2 aircraft: 1 De Havilland Canada DHC-6 Twin Otter Series 200 and 1 Cessna 402C II. Both fleets are versatile aircrafts and highly maneuverable that can be safely flown in various speeds without compromising passengers’ comfort. Inland Pacific Air Airlines provides chartered flights throughout Australia and operates as an air passenger service to a number of known and in-demand Queensland destinations. It also flies to some Australian areas that are not easily accessed by commercial aircrafts.
