Northern Territory

The Northern Territory is the remotest and hottest populated areas of Australia. It has large number of tourist attractions located in the capital city of Darwin and the states National Parks. Some of them are:
Kakadu National Park is a very popular attraction amongst visitors; it is an oasis of wildlife, waterfalls, and aboriginal rock art.
Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park is an eminent location that has amazing sunrises and sunsets and over Uluru and the Olgas.
Litchfield National Park is popular for spectacular scenery, monsoonal rainforests, waterfalls and spring-fed streams.
Kings Canyon is a remarkable canyon set amid the harsh outback landscape.
Katherine Gorge Cruise is one of the many unforgettable experiences.

- Berry Spring Nature Park, is a lovely place to relax, swim and barbecue
- Sound of starlight theatre: The theatre specializes for Aboriginal art, crafts and concerts
- Olive pink botanical garden, it has 300 plant species and include desert, sand dune system, woodland, a rocky waterhole and a creek flood out.
Crocodylus Park, enable tourist to learn from the world’s leading researcher and scientists. There monkeys, ostriches, iguanas, sea turtles, cassowaries and water birds can also be seen.
Variety of events took place in various locations across the state including Darwin, Arnhem Land and Litchfield National Park. Events can be of large scale that run over a week's time or small scale that are a day or a few hours long.
Some of them are: - Territory Day is one of the most spectacular events. Territory lights up in a rainbow of rockets and Roman candles, people were allowed to light fireworks. Camel cup is the annual festival incorporates with fun rides, food and drink stalls, music and belly dancers. Various races were held throughout the day including kid’s races, novelty relay-style race and rickshaw races.
The Northern Territory of Australia is truly an exclusive region and has a huge selection of tours and safaris ranging from half-day trips to safaris lasting several days. Northern Territory is connected to other parts of the country through well-developed transportation system and has different mode of transportation to roam around.
