History

The IAB Awards also known as The Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) is the highest trade association that controls online advertising in the country of Australia. The establishment of this unit took place in 1996 with its controlling body located at the New York City. Incepted in the year 2010, IAB has now spread rapidly, holding more than 40 IAB offices across the globe.

The IAB has a unit named IAB MIXX Awards to promote advertising by honoring the extra-ordinary innovative and ingenious digital work. IAB Awards are known to be of the superior class for recognizing campaigns and applauding first-class modernism. This award serves as a base to build brands online.

The IAB committee consists of over 500 renowned media and skilled companies that hold accountability of trading 86% of online advertising in the States. The aim of IAB is to tutor marketers, agencies, media companies and other business communities concerning the importance of interactive advertising.  

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criterion to enroll in IAB Awards is as follows;

1. A minimum of 2 years experience in digital media sales

2. At the least 1 year of experience in digital media sales/ 2 years of job experience in non-sales roles in digital media +  pursuing or completion of 15* hours of training program in digital media.

3. An experience of 2 years in traditional media sales/ experience in non-media sales of 5 years + completed 30* hours of training program in digital media from any U.S. recognized institution or affiliated training program.

4. A Digital Marketing graduate from U.S. recognized institution in addition to a year’s experience in general sales or media.
