History

Since there more than 30,000 active wedding suppliers in the Australian bridal market, finding the right bridal supplier can become a very daunting task. With this concern in mind, the Australian Bridal Industry Academy was founded. The Academy was created to address the imbalances in the Australian bridal market and provide authoritative solutions to the benefit of the bridal industry associate and the bride.

The Australian Bridal Industry Awards was created to acknowledge the highest rated bridal suppliers in each state. This Awards program is given across 38 wedding categories. The award giving body will be providing the winning bridal supplier with plaques, certificates, and award logos that the supplier can use in advertising. With these achievements, the brides can easily distinguish Award winning wedding suppliers.

Eligibility

To become eligible for this Awards program, the bridal supplier should register their business. Once registered with the Australian Bridal Industry Academy, the supplier will receive a username and password for the supplier administration page. After this, the bridal supplier must log in to the supplier administration page using the provided username and password.

Once logged in, the bridal supplier must register the weddings that the supplier has serviced over the past 12 months. During registration, all necessary details must be included. The supplier will have to wait to be rated. The bride will receive a voting form through the email entered in the registration form. In cases where the bride will not vote even after receiving an auto invitation to vote, the voting form will be sent again every 14 days for a period of 6 weeks. After the set period, the invitation will then expire.

Criteria

The bride will be rating the supplier based on the following:

  • Quality of the Product
  • Quality of the Service
  • Value for Money
  • Attitude of Supplier and Staff

The ratings will be calculated and compared with the competitors in each category.
