Where Can I Sit For the Australian Citizenship Test?

There are selected and assigned locations where you can sit the Australian citizenship test. You need to set an appointment for citizenship exam in departmental offices found in all major city capitals. There are also off-site appointment centres such as the offices of Centrelink and Medicare. Remember that the initial step that you have to accomplish in these centres and offices is to set and schedule for a citizenship test. The officers and staff of these centres will arrange your schedule for the exam, and you have to come back to the assigned citizenship exam given to you. They do not provide any information about the exam, they do not assist or prepare you for the exam, and they do not administer the citizenship exam.

If for instance you are offshore and lodged your appointment at the embassy of Australia, the embassy officers will have to arrange where you shall sit for the exam. An Australian citizenship test is administered by the Department of Immigration and Citizenship officers in the departmental offices in the city capitals, or offices of Centrelink and Medicare located in the following areas:
